Answer:
There are multiple steps in setting up an employee to receive direct deposit of pay checks.
Setup Direct Deposit Module.
You start with setting up the bank account you will use to pay the direct deposit. See KB 10091.
Setup employee for Direct Deposit.
Maintain > Payroll > Employee Information
Click the Job and Pay tab.
Check the box for “Direct Deposit”
Click the Direct Deposit tab
Enter in the employee’s bank information.
If the employee wants paycheck direct deposited into more than 1 bank account, enter in the information for each. For the % or Amount columns, enter in the appropriate values.
% (Percentage): At least one line item must contain a percentage, and the Percentage (%) column must total 100, regardless of whether any amounts have been entered.
Amount: Enter the amount to be deposited into the employee's bank account. During transfer, the system first distributes monetary amounts. If more than one line has an amount, then the system distributes amounts in the order in which they were entered. Any remaining amount is distributed according to percentages.
Click the Email tab
Select how you want employee to receive their payroll voucher/pay stub. Print Paper Voucher or Email Voucher or Both. If you want to email voucher, enter their email address in the Email Address box, then select the Voucher Process Template you want them to receive.
Save.
Determine if you want employees to receive a physical paycheck for the first pay period or if you want the first paycheck to go directly to the employee’s bank account. If you want the first paycheck to be direct deposit, you must disable prenote with the bank. To do this if read KB 8006.
Maintain > Payroll > Employee Information
Click the Job and Pay tab.

Click the Direct Deposit tab
