After importing transactions into MIP from GiveSmart Donor CRM transactions appear multiple times in reports.
Cause
Most likely the transaction originating from GiveSmart Donor CRM was changed.
Resolution
1. Locate the Document Number, which is the Transaction ID in Donor CRM
2. Login to Connector, mapping.mip.com - (this login is different than your MIP portal account)
3. Select GiveSmart Donor CRM>Data Mapping button
4. Select Notifications
5. View All Notifications at the bottom of the window
6. Select Check All to check all item, then deselect Check All, then select: SYNC_ITEM_SUCCESS
7. Type in the Document ID/Transaction ID and the multiple transactions will appear. Select the blue arrow at the far right to expand the details
8. Look through the details to see which item(s) may be different
9. Also Check Donor CRM to see how many transactions appear. In Donor CRM go to Navigator>Gift>Gift Listing and enter the name of the donor. The donors name can be found in the Connector Error Message. If the transaction only appears one time in Donor CRM then the transaction was most likely edited and saved.

You may also consider adding the Session ID and Document Description to your report as an additional time saving check when researching transaction duplication.
